Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades to gear increase its base stats, and sometimes increases its other features. The worth of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements, and the amount of random augmentations applied.
For instance, the premium racial shield Razortail is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorb function in PvP, or to add additional defenses on missile based builds in PvM. This makes it more tradeable than the non-upgraded perfect version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens allow you to reroll an item you have acquired, such as an armor, weapon or ring. The item is replaced by another of the same kind however with different benefits. Reroll tokens can be an efficient method of upgrading equipment. They don't maintain the original level of the item and any money wasted will not be refunded.
The survivors can get tokens to reroll in many ways, including the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be located in crates and chests or bought from the market for 150k each. Reroll tokens are used to alter the attributes of an item for example, increasing the damage it can cause.
Players can roll equipment with three aspects: physical power, spell power and health. Physical power increases the damage that melee and weapons, while spell power upgrades rings and mage attacks. Health upgrades give the player an extra health.
There are three types of Reroll tokens: upgrade, rare, and legendary. Each upgrade elevates an item to a better quality and requires a higher-level reroll token in order to make it. Upgrades with enhanced capabilities require a common item, rare upgrades require a special or a legendary item, and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.
Unlike other special tokens and markers placed on Action spaces the reroll marker stays on the space until the next successful result is rerolled. This lets you avoid wasting upgrades.
Blueprints are envelopes which appear at the beginning of each preparation phase. They are opened using Interact by pressing on them. Once they're opened they show a complete description and the icon of the relevant appliance or ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged for a new Appliance or Ingredient in the restaurant's store for the amount of coins.
This means that you can move blueprints between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool when you run. This alters the kind of blueprints that a restaurant's shop sells to reroll and which are available in the Non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
Weapons such as armor, weapons, and other accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These are special stones that increase an item's level by increasing its stats and attributes. They can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the main towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell them for a price. They can also be purchased by players who sign daily contracts.
To upgrade equipment players first need to find the item they want to upgrade and then click on the "level up" button. This will display a menu that shows the item's current status and what it will be after being upgraded and the required amount of Growth Stones to do so. The number of Growth Stones required to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Rare (blue) rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor requires only one Growth Stone.
After deciding on the item to upgrade the player must select the number of Growth Stones that they want to use and pay the cost. After the player has met the requirements, they can select the upgrade option and apply the Growth Stones. The item will be raised in level by a certain percentage. The upgrade process can take from a few seconds to several minutes, depending on the rarity of the item.
The upgrade process is risk-free and doesn't affect the durability of the item. This makes it an ideal way for players to get a significant advantage in combat without putting stress on their accounts. Moreover, players can transfer the experience and progress of an upgraded item onto a new item by clicking the "transfer" tab.
The process of getting Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty can be daunting for players who are new to the game. However, there are many ways to acquire them, including signing contracts and buying them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, collecting them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or obtaining them from reward chests during the Ancient Arena season. Additionally players can also take apart higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.
Leveling
Leveling is a feature that lets players boost the base stats of weapons armor, helms, and trinkets. The Upgrade Station allows you to combine an item with upgrade materials, and also pay a cost in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The process will consume the upgrade materials and give the item an increased level, which gives the item an additional boost in that area. This process can be repeated until the maximum level of an item is reached.
Items that have upgraded stats will display a blue icon beside their slot. Contrary to enchantments upgrade components don't stack with each other, but can only be added to a single item at one time. Furthermore each upgrade component will require a particular quantity of items to be applied and an initial amount for the equipment.
The Upgrade Station has two slots: the first is where players can put in a piece of equipment that they wish to upgrade, and the right slot shows a preview of what the gear will appear like when it reaches its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow after is a player has enough resources will begin the upgrade process.
A piece of equipment may be upgraded up to five times. Each time the item is upgraded, its base stats will increase by a small percentage. The highest level for an item is 19.
When an item reaches its maximum level, its upgrades will no longer be available to it. In the same way, once a piece of gear reaches the level of a specific upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track will be discounted.
Upgrade components are a kind of equipment that can be put into armor, weapons trinkets, trinkets, or gathering tools to provide an additional bonus or effect when the equipment is equipped. They can be bought from vendors, looted, or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be changed with new ones. However, this will cause the old upgrade to be destroyed.
Requirements
The upgrades to items allow players the ability to increase certain stats on armor and weapons that they currently have. The requirements for upgrading an item differ based on the item type however, generally you'll require Dilithium as well as a few Upgrade Tokens (various options available).
The upgrade items can be used to make sets and weapons for added effects or a higher quality item. The upgrades can be acquired from various sources in the game, including crafting, purchased from the Trading Post or karma vendors or looted from bosses or raids, or retrieved from dungeons. Once an upgrade component is inserted into an object, it isn't able to be removed or replaced. However the glyphs can be swapped freely.
The upgrade of an item can boost its Mark Level and/or Rarity. In addition, certain upgrade components have additional modifiers that could further improve the item's stats.
For instance, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" improves base defense, and gives an additional 20% chance of blocking. The dps "Wildfire" however increases damage from weapons.
Upgrades can be beneficial to certain items, but not because they boost stats. They are more valuable to players when they achieve a perfect roll. A perfectly rolled 200/6500 armor set piece, for example is highly sought-after by melee PvP communities and could be worth 20-50 times the non-upp’d version.
If you choose an upgrade component that you want to put into an item, the game will display an in-game window that lists the requirements required for that item. The game will show the requirements required when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.
Once you've met the required requirements for an upgrade the game will put the item in your inventory and the progress bar will change to show how close you are to completing the upgrade. You can also verify the status of an upgrade by visiting any item upgrade r NPC.
